Micaylee Rodyniuk is a young up and coming Jazz vocalist. She has been formally trained in Jazz at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Music under the tutelage of Jazz Masters Larry Roy, Derrick Gardener and Jon Gordon.
Micaylee’s unique sound has been compared to the likes of Nora Jones, Diana Krall and Billie Holiday. Influenced by Edith Piaf, Joni Mitchell and Sarah Vaughn, Micaylee mixes both current and classical elements of Jazz into a unique performance experience. Her ease on stage provides a relaxed, inclusive entertainment experience with splashes of technical mastery not easily found in such a young performer.
Micaylee has performed at many venues across Canada including the; Calgary Stampede, Canadian Human Rights Museum, Asper Jazz Series many years over, The Palm Lounge and the Winnipeg Art Gallery, just to name a few.
Micaylee lives, teaches and performs out of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
